Unlike mass-produced spinning tools, each spindle is individually matched to its included ash wood spinning bowl. Every set is carefully tested and adjusted in my workshop to achieve smooth, stable, and reliable rotation.

For this reason, the spindle and bowl are offered exclusively as a matched set and are not sold separately.

Welcome to Austrian Timber Bowl.

I am Gerold, a woodturner from Upper Austria. In my small workshop near Linz, I create each piece by hand from carefully selected woods. From the raw timber to the final finish, every step is completed personally by me.

For me, spinning tools are more than functional objects. They are companions for quiet moments, creativity, and the connection between hands, fibre, and natural wood. My goal is not simply to create beautiful tools, but to craft pieces that become part of each spinner's personal journey.

My workshop is small enough to stay personal, authentic enough to build trust, and passionate enough to create meaningful connections.
