ABOUT THE MAKER

Welcome to Austrian Timber Bowl.

I am Gerold, a woodturner from Upper Austria. In my small workshop near Linz, I create each piece by hand from carefully selected regional woods. From selecting the timber to the final finish, every step is completed personally by me.

For me, spinning is about more than creating yarn. It is about slowing down, finding focus, and enjoying the connection between hands, fibre, and wood. I strive to create tools that become trusted companions on that journey.

My workshop is small enough to stay personal, authentic enough to build trust, and passionate enough to create meaningful connections. I believe handcrafted tools should not only work beautifully but also tell a story and create lasting memories.
